In accordance with the provisions of the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (“Law”) and its regulations, and in order to guarantee the privacy of its clients, users of the website and any person who provides their personal data, De Buen Legal Consulting, S.C. (“DBLC”), with address located at Carretera México-Toluca 5860, Col. El Contadero, Alcaldía Cuajimalpa de Morelos, C.P. 05500, Mexico City, Mexico, telephone (55) 43524873, informs you that it is responsible for the treatment, use and protection of your personal data.
DBLC may obtain your personal information through this web site, telephone calls, e-mails business cards or job applications. DBLC may collect the following personal data: (i) complete name; (ii) address; (iii) occupation; (iv) workplace and position; (v) telephone and/or cellphone; and (vi) e-mail. In addition, in the case of an application for employment, DBLC may request the following information: (i) date of birth; (ii) education level; (iii) professional experience; (iv) areas of professional practice; (v) languages spoken; (vi) professional affiliations; (vii) reasons for employment with DBLC; (viii) professional references; (ix) copy of your official identification; (x) resume; and (xi) if applicable, your social security number.
The aforementioned personal data will be collected and processed by DBLC for the following purposes: (i) contacting individuals and carrying out consulting services in accordance with their request; (ii) responding to their job application, carrying out the recruitment process and analyzing their possible selection as a candidate; (iii) answering and following up on the legal services contracted; (iv) to send information, memorandums, notices or news regarding legal reforms, or legal topics of interest; (v) to carry out billing activities, clarifications and follow-up on the collection of fees; (vi) to send invitations to conferences or events organized by or in which DBLC participates; and (vii) to send any notifications related to changes or modifications to this Privacy Notice.
DBLC informs you that it has each and every one of the administrative, physical and technical security measures necessary to safeguard your personal information that you voluntarily provide us from any damage, loss, alteration, destruction or unauthorized use, access or treatment, committing to keep it confidential.
You have the right to access, rectify and cancel your personal data, oppose the processing thereof, limit its use or disclosure, or revoke the consent you have given us for the processing of such data, by sending a request to contacto@debuenlc.com, or by writing to our personal data department located at Carretera México-Toluca 5860, Col. El Contadero, Alcaldía Cuajimalpa de Morelos, C. P. 05500, Mexico City, Mexico, containing the following information: (i) full name; (ii) documents proving your identity or, in the case of legal entities, your legal representation; (iii) a clear description of the personal data with respect to which you seek to exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition; and (iv) e-mail or address to communicate the response to your request. Your request will be answered within a maximum period of 20 days or the term allowed by law and we will inform you about the origin of the request through the e-mail or address you have provided us.
In the event that you do not wish or do not agree with DBLC’s treatment for the aforementioned purposes, you may express your refusal by sending an e-mail to contacto@debuenlc.com, or by writing to our aforementioned address.
The personal data collected by DBLC will be stored in a database and will not be assigned or transferred to third parties without your consent, with the exception of the cases provided for in Article 37 of the Law, as well as to carry out this transfer in the terms set forth in said law. Notwithstanding the foregoing, DBLC has the right to share your personal data with other partners and employees of the firm, members of counsel, notaries, service providers or third parties who process your personal data, who will be subject at all times to this Privacy Notice.
DBLC reserves the right to modify this Privacy Notice. Any changes or modifications to this Notice will be sent to the e-mail address you have provided to us or will be available on this website.
Our website may contain links to external websites that are not owned by or related to DBLC, so we are not responsible for the use they could give to your personal data or their privacy policies.
This Privacy Notice is governed by the Law, its regulations and other applicable laws in the United Mexican States and its acceptance implies your express submission to the courts of Mexico City, Mexico in case of any controversy or claim arising from it.
